š What to Expectš
At the entrance, Guide will collect the $25 admission fee from the group. While she is at the window paying your admission fee, you will wait on the left. Then we skip the line!
Immediately as we enter on the right is a room dedicated to all the marine life you can see at Hanauma Bay.
You'll wait to enter the theatre to watch a brief mandatory introductory video on the history and importance of preserving Hanauma Bay.
Guide will be waiting to meet you once you have exited the video viewing room from the back doors.
Upon exiting you will see a tram. You can either ride or walk down to the beach.
The walk is about 4-5 minutes, you can stop to take pictures.
You can also enjoy the view as you ride down the tram.
We'll arrive at the beach in a few minutes!
Finally, we'll set up on the grass near the bathrooms, then make our way as a group to the sea!

6:30 / 11:00
Pick-up from your hotel or designated location in the Waikiki/Kahala area.
7:00 / 12:00
Arrive at Hanauma Bay
- Please hand the $25 admission fee to your guide.
- Enter the park with your guide and watch the mandatory orientation video.
- Take the tram down to the beach (walking is also okay).
- Use the restroom and get ready (store valuables in the lock box).
- Snorkeling briefing
- Practice in shallow water
- Start snorkeling!
- After the session, rinse off, change clothes, and relax.
- Receive your photos and videos.
Afterward, take the tram back up.
If you'd like to visit the gift shop, feel free to stop by. (Credit card only.)
10:00 / 15:00
Depart Hanauma Bay.
10:30 / 15:30
Arrive back at your hotel.

- Please wear your swimsuit in advance.
- Bring a towel and a change of clothes.
- The tour may be changed or canceled due to weather, ocean conditions, or traffic.
